Butler, Shine, Stern, & Partners is looking for an outstanding Art Producer to join our team. This is full-time opportunity to work on-site at BSSP’s digs, working in collaboration with a team of industry leaders who are dead-set on being innovative and having a good time doing it. We have clients in industries ranging from Automotive, Technology, Financial, Food, Youth Culture and Apparel/Fashion.

BSSP is a full-service advertising agency located in Sausalito, about 10 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. Our environment is fun and intellectual. BSSP’s office is an awesome environment that reflects our culture of creativity and groundbreaking creative work. We are 170+ people strong and growing.

Responsibilities:

  • Source appropriate photographers, illustrators, designers and stock as needed for specific ads.
  • Work closely with creative teams to produce ad campaigns according to approved Media Buys.
  • Create production schedules for ads and photo shoots capturing key dates to projects on time.
  • Estimates fees and expenses for photo shoots and the purchase of artwork.
  • Triple bids all services when required.
  • Create client estimates and revise them as necessary when the scope of the work changes.
  • Negotiate costs and terms with stock houses, illustrators and photographers according to a job’s specific budget.
  • Solid working knowledge of the print production process.
  • Generates purchase orders for all services procured.
  • Solid photo coordination skills and basic knowledge of copyright laws.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels and in all departments.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, display initiative and exercise good judgment.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of working photographers, illustrators and stock houses and all levels.
  • Organize bi-weekly portfolio shows
  • Solid knowledge of the print production process.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels and in all departments
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, display imitative and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to exhibit good crisis management skills, ability to prioritize in a hectic situation and communicate problems and/or solutions fast and efficiently to all employees.
  • Excellent writing and oral communications skills. Possess an aptitude for multitasking.
  • Experience with Automotive , Apparel and CPG.

 Qualifications:

  • 7 – 10 years minimum experience with producing ad campaigns and art buying.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel and have a working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
