Did you miss the Merge SF event? We’ve got you covered

I believe in the power of community; looking for ways to use my knowledge, along with others’ to help move the photography and video industry and the individuals within it, ahead. So, when I was invited to be part of an event called Merge that brought the LA and the SF communities together, I, of course, said yes. I’ve been a guest of this event in the past and love the genuine camaraderie that comes with it.

Merge SF started in LA with a group of artist’s agents who have come together to collaborate on industry events featuring gallery shows, music, and food. Merge LA states, “When Merge visits other cities, they partner with local agents, and I was one of them. Together we represent some of the top photographers, directors, illustrators, and CGI artists in the industry. Our events offer agency producers, creatives, clients, and brands the opportunity to experience creative work and meet artists in a very relaxed, social environment.”

Despite the Warriors playoff game and some unusual spring rain, the turnout was still amazing – a testament to a fantastic community and some strong friendships.  The depth of the relationships was obvious.  It is no surprise though given the hosts and the collective years they have been in the industry.  If you haven’t already discovered them or their talent, you can review their rosters here: Jigisha Bouverat Collective, Picture Matters, Tidepool Reps and fellow SF co-host Marianne Campbell and Associates. It was an honor to be part of such a stellar group and hope that they come back next year to host with us again!

A special thanks to our bar sponsor KOMYOON. Check out this cutting-edge Instagram like app helping content producers and creatives find commercial artists. It is visually stunning and worth the download!
